2023/24 MCCRC Presentation Evening and Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Tuesday 26 March 2024, 6.00pm - 8.00pm, Senior School Hall, Marist College

6.00pm - MCCRC 2023/24 Presentations

Formal Presentations and coaches awards will be presented to rowers. Boys are to wear full Summer uniform.

7.30pm - MCCRC Annual General Meeting (AGM)

All Sports Clubs must elect and operate an Executive Committee who are responsible for voting on club related items. The MCCRC Executive Committee consists of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Registrar and Safety Officer.

Additional members of the committee work with the Executive members to facilitate the administration and operational tasks involved in running the Club. These members can raise club initiatives for discussion, consideration and voting on by the Executive Committee, but they are non-voting positions.

Nominations will be circulated to members on Wednesday 20 March 2024. Voting will take place at the AGM.

Please note, the following parent Sub Committees have been established over the 2023/2024 season. They are not ‘elected’ or ‘voted’ in – rather are important opportunities to assist the club in a voluntary capacity. All committees are seeking further volunteers.

Marist Rowing Club is required to provide volunteers to Rowing ACT for the regatta on Saturday 16 March.

One (1) NEW double to be named

Covers the cost of purchasing MCCRC caps to be sold as a fundraising item.

BRONZE - $1,000 - NAMING RIGHTS FOR (2) EXISTING BOATS

Re-naming of two (2) existing boats within the club (purchased from another club).
A name of your choice or business logo* will be displayed on the boat.

BRONZE - $1,000 - MERCHANDISE SPONSOR

Covers the cost of purchasing MCCRC drink bottles to be sold as a fundraising item.

BRONZE - $500 - BBQ/ CANTEEN SPONSOR POOL

This year, MCCRC will be hosting a canteen at Weston Park on regatta days & BBQ's at the sheds for special presentations.
Our target is to cover the cost of all nine (9) canteen/ BBQ's for the 2023/24 season.
Funds wil be pooled (not allocated to a specific regatta) to cover the cost of goods.
A roster will be in place for canteen & BBQ duties to ensure the workload is shared amongst families.
